Personalized Gift

Everyone who knows me knows that I love photography. Most people also know that I love personalized gifts. In fact, I make many different personalized photo items, such as Italian photo charms, tote bags, mouse pads, and more.

This past Christmas, I went to my neighbor's house to deliver an Italian photo charm key chain and bracelet that she had ordered for her son-in-law and daughter in Florida. Since my neighbor and her husband were going to Florida over Christmas, her family in Ohio had their Christmas with her early. Her daughter-in-law and son got her one of the coolest things I have ever seen. It was a photo quilt. The daughter-in-law had used photos from their wedding, the birth of her three children, the birth of her grandchildren, her parents, and more. It was absolutely gorgeous.

Of course, when I walked in my neighbor's home, the photo quilt immediately caught my eye, and I went directly to it to look at it. Then, I realized what a very special gift this was when I turned to my neighbor and saw that she had tears in her eyes.

I really wish that I could sew, but I can't. So, I wouldn't be able to make these personalized gifts. However, I do have plans of eventually purchasing Picture Blankets as gifts for my dad, my aunt, and my mother-in-law. At Visionbedding.com, they even have photo dog beds! It would be so cool to get my dad's wolf a dog bed with photos of him all over it!
