There's Always Next Year (I Guess)

Well, the game was a total disappointment last night. Needless to say, my precious Cleveland Indians will not be going to the World Series. We were this close! Darnit! I didn't cry too much... I only wailed and threw a temper tantrum shed a couple quiet tears.

Really, I'm ready to jump off a bridge handling it quite well.

You know what they say... "There's Always Next Year." Yeah, whatever.

Don't worry about me though, I'm OK... really...

I mean, hey, at least I don't have to waste my time sitting in front of the TV watching a stupid World Series. I have much better things to do, anyway. Yeah, that's it! I've got much *sniff* *sniff* better things to do than watch stupid baseball games.

Really, it's no big deal.

Going to go convince myself of that now.

2008...Cubs...Indians...World Series

Crazed Nitwit

Now come on, there's no crying in baseball! HUGS! They did much better than the Mariners have ever done.(I know that may not be comforting but hey........I use what I got!) ;D

I'm not really into the playoffs this year...none of "my teams" are playing...but TRUE STORY...when I saw the Tribe had lost...I thought of you and felt bad....

{{{Misty Dawn}}} I feel your pain. Honest, I do.

((hugs)) Hope you feel better. I'm reminded of the Tom Hanks movie with baseball and Penny Marshall, Rosie, etc. where he says there is no crying in baseball...LOL

Have a great Tuesday, I'll be by later.

There there. That's a big girl Mist. Buck up--next year is only a few weeks away. {{{HUGS}}}

The Egel Nest

Up until 2005, I thought I would never see a White Sox world series win in my lifetime...there is ALWAYS next year...

There's no crying in baseball! But as an Astros fan, I TOTALLY empathize with you. You just need time - before you know it pitchers and catchers will be reporting to Spring Training!
