No, I'm not just trying to prove that I can count - I've been tagged for a meme. Tammy hobbled to her computer to tag me with a meme - bad ankle an all (which, I personally think that if it isn't better should be x-rayed to see if it is hurt worse that she is admitting - but, I guess my over-protectiveness is showing through). Tammy had a really stressful week and, since I can't be there to help her and take her mind off of the events of the week, I figure the least I can do is complete the meme she tagged me with!

1. Name one thing you do everyday.

Breathe - yup, every single day... until I stop, and then I won't 'be' anymore ;-)

2. Name two things you wish you could learn.

I would like to learn more web design things, such as HTML, graphic creation, more about web sites, etc.

I would also like to learn to be a better cook. No, I'm not a bad cook - I'm just not an experienced cook. I can follow a recipe, but when it comes to the things that good cooks just know in their heads - well, I don't have that stuff.

3. Name three things that remind you of your childhood.

- Kentucky - we had a cottage there, and it was one of my favorite places ever.
- Watermelon, Cantaloupe, and Corn on the Cob - my great uncle had a produce farm, and I spent my summers planting, picking, and selling produce. (and eating it too - yummmmmy)
- The Cosby Show - my grandmother did not like television, because she thought it took away from family interaction. However, she loved Bill Cosby and would hold me on her lap while we watched The Cosby Show together.

4. Name four things you love to eat but rarely do.

- Siciliano's Pizza (It'd take about a 14 hour drive to get me some)
- Sushi
- Aunt J's seven layer salad (Oh, how I miss it!!!)
- Whoppers (The Burger King is too far away!)

5. Name five things/people that make you feel good.

- My dogs - especially when I see them for the first time in the morning and they run as hard and fast as they can to come greet me and have me hug them.
- My dad - We've developed a relationship and bond that is indescribable
- My best friends - Tammy, LMQ, Beck, Sue and the people from the forum (although I don't get to talk to them much now) Robyn, Michelle, Soup, Judy, Marg, Kathy, Wolfy... and my online-blogging friends (there are just too many of you to list!)
- Hanging out with my cousins
- When my nieces climb up in my lap, hug me, or tell me they love me.
(and, of course, my husband... but that's a given - I mean, I married the man. Besides, whose stupid idea was it to only allow five things or people that make you feel good??? I'm a very thankful person by nature - I could give you a list a mile long to answer this question!)

I'm so behind on memes that I don't think I have the right to tag anyone. So, if you would like to do this meme, then I would love to read your answers.

I love you too you crazy corny almond dork! Guess what, you're stuck with me forever so you better get used to it.

I'd love to learn HTML and some more cooking (and baking) skills.

I loved your Grandma/Cosby memory! Very sweet. I remember Sunday evenings with grandparents when I was a little girl so fondly. For some reason they never read the TV listings in advance, and were always excited by who ended up on The Ed Sullivan Show. I remember their animated chatter, and then they would explain who this or that singer or comedian was. In retrospect, I think I loved how happy they were together, and how they would include me in it.

Thanks for spurring such a warm and wonderful thought with yours about your Grandma.
