Heads or Tails *First or Last*

One of my favorite bloggers, Skittles has started a Tuesday meme. It is LOTS of fun-so you'll wanna join us right away! If you click on the Heads or Tails logo - it will take you to the post to tell you more about the meme.

This week's topic is Heads - First or Tails - Last.

I was only going to do the post on Misty's Words and wasn't going to do a HoT post on this blog this week... that was until the last few minutes I just experienced.

What was one of the first things you all learned about me? Do I hear 'she loves dogs'? Well, I just got ready to go let the dogs out for the last time tonight. I got my boots on and turned to the door to open it. There was a face staring in the window at me! That was the last thing I expected to see! It was a dog's face! Except... that dog-face did not belong to any of my three dogs! Last time I checked, my dogs are Border Collies. This was a Australian Cattle Dog (a breed which I love, by the way)! I ran and called Hubs to come look. He said "It's getting the door all muddy jumping on it! It's going to have to stop jumping on the door!" I said "What do you want me to do?" One last time, he said "Make it stop jumping on the door." So, I did what any obsessed dog addict other good wife would do to make the dog stop jumping on the door...
I put it in one of our buildings and gave it food! That'll probably be the last time Hubs leaves me to take care of a stray dog ;-) I'll post photos of my new the dog tomorrow, if it's still here - to put on the "Found Dog" posters, of course.

Mom Knows Everything

It looks like you have a new pet. hehehe! He only wants to be your friend and wants you to love him.

Aaawww...I'm the keeper of stray cats. I'm sure your new friend will make him(her)self right at home with you.

Sometimes you find the dog and sometimes the dog finds you right?

The Egel Nest

If I ever need a safe place for a dog...I am sending him to you...

When you talked about the face at the door...I thought it was a burglar or sacred me for a brief moment!

The Egel Nest

Travis Cody

Well, at least he's not getting the door muddy anymore.

Australian Cattle Dog !

hehheh :)

That is exactly what I would have done. In fact, I have, twice. Both times we found the owners the next day and they were so very grateful! But ya, the hubs, he thought I was insane.

Sandy Kessler

Found you for a reason

Stray animals are dangerous to me. Especially in my small house with 3 kitties & (growing!!!!) puppy. I want to love everything that looks like it needs love. We haven't seen Tweetie in a very long time & I'm dreadfully worried about her!

Hey it's Amy Benson

I love my doggie too! People without dogs just don't understand...

Baldwins Girl

1. I say go for it. Get a temporary color ... since you are going from light to dark no worries.. and give it a go girl! It's fun (by the way, my new color highlights are 2 colors...they start with P and C...hmmmmmm.

2. I think his name is Lucky. He sure was lucky to find a home with you. LOL!!!

Thank goodness for softies like you. Your husband hasn't got a chance, has he?

I think your dog is adorable! The one pictured at the top. I'm going to have fun checking out the rest of your blog.

peppylady (Dora)
