Sky Watch Friday

(c) Misty DawnS

Y'all tired of my cemetery gate in the sunset photos yet? I wouldn't be surprised if you were, but I just can't help myself. I love the ironwork of the arch and gate, and I love using it as a subject in front of the great sunsets we have here. This shot was taken Monday evening. There will certainly be many more cemetery-gate-sunset photos on my blog in the future - just to give you fair warning ;-)

I hope everyone has a great weekend!
I'll do my best to visit everyone's Sky Watch posts tomorrow, but I've got the flu, which has caused the Fibromyalgia to flare, so I'm not sure how tomorrow will go.

Definitely tired of those shots. Keep them coming. An excellent photo!

Champ Townboy

I don't blame you, I'd take several pictures a day of the gate ... it is awesome!! Here's to hoping you are better tomorrow!

I don't blame you... it's a beautiful gate made even more beautiful by the sunset. Feel better!

Its good to know that the dead have something beautiful to watch over them.

Snap Catch

great catch! In the sky, there is no distinction of east and west, the people create distinctions out of their own minds and then beleive them to be true…. mine’s up too hope you can drop by

This is stunning Misty... A great sky watch picture for sure.

Awesome indeed .. it, the gate, takes on a sort of storybook sketch appearance in this shot.

Rocky Mountain Retreat

Reminds me of my favorite Director - Tim Burton! lol.. he has a gate like similar to that in so many of his movies...

Don't think I have any critter photos.

I could never be tired of photos like this!

I'm not tired of them!

Feel better, Misty Dawn. {{{hugs}}}

Nice cemetery gate! In fact I don't really recall cemeteries in Singapore having gates (maybe they do, but nothing interesting) :P That one reason I'm pretty fascinated by the ones you've posted. Not tired of them at all!! :)

i beati

I feel you should enter those gate photos in many contests- special allure and fel to them as well as coloration..skhappy weekend.

Can't beat that gate for framing the sky!

This photo is absolutely gorgeous ! I admired the gate too without knowing that it was the entry to a cimetary ! With that name it's quite funny ! I really like it !

I like this excellent shot.

Hi Misty,
That is absolutely spectular! I'm sorry to hear you're ill, hope you'll soon be better.

It's stunning, this scene is not commom here in Brazil. The cemeteries here are so different! The gate is beautiful with the sunset behind! Great shot!

Misty Dawn, I linked the photo of my female dog Melly (Teckel)from an old post to participate from Camera Critters Meme. Sorry because the text is in Portuguese. Please consider only the first picture and later on I will post a another with the translation. She is 6 years old and I love her.

Have a nice weekend with Maggie (so cute)!

Very nice!!!

The best sihouette picture ever!

Sorry I haven't got the time to visit you earlier.
Have a nice weekend!

You just keep getting better and better at this - I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE this shot!

Personally, I love it! It looks like something out of an old Western or a horror movie. Such personality and such a gorgeous sky!
