Camera-Critters #22

Down the road,
in one of my boss's fields,
I found Damselfly Heaven!
Seriously! They were EVERYWHERE!
I was amazed at all the different colors,
and, being the obsessive photographer I am,
I, of course, took photos of every single different
colored damselfly I saw :-D

See... some of them were in need of a little privacy,
which I wasn't providing ;-)

(c) Misty DawnS

This white one was resting on a tree limb...
When you view it full size, it looks like he's got a huge smile on his face.
It's rather funny.

And, we have fluorescent green, with a neon blue tip on the tail...

(c) Misty DawnS

I really loved this bright orange one.
It is so pretty.

(c) Misty DawnS

This one reminded me of a zebra with its black stripes...

(c) Misty DawnS

This one had sage green stripes...

(c) Misty DawnS

This one looks gray or silver in the photo,
but when the sun hit it just right,
it has a lavender tint to it...

I also had a blast seeing my camera zoom in and focus on these tiny little critters.
It was a lot of fun and provided me with plenty photos to torture you with share with you for Camera-Critters.
You can bet I'll be visiting that field on a regular basis.

Oh... and for those who are bored wanting to know... I'll share all the fair/ribbon-winning details with you tomorrow. I promise... tomorrow you'll be accusing me of bragging on myself while I excitedly tell you about the seven ribbons.
