Camera-Critters #49

Y'all thought I was making up the whole
"Middle of Nowhere, Turn Left at the Cow" thing,
Didn't ya?
Well! Here's PROOF!
Here's the cow, and when you see him,
you turn LEFT to come find me!
So THERE! You won't ever doubt me again, will ya!

Speakin' of cows..........
Y'all remember this beauty and how I instantly fell in love with her?
YES, I fall in love with cows... is that a problem?
Cuz, if that's a problem, well then we need to work it out.
Cuz, I ♥ cows, and that's not gonna change any time soon.
Annnnnywho... you remember her? Of course you do! She's gorgeous!
How could you possibly forget her?
So ummmm, I think there's another beauty in the making...
(this is your cue to scroll to the next pic)

See! I told ya!
Seriously - look at this, and try to tell me it's not cute and adorable.
Go ahead...
just try...
I'll wait.

No, neither of the above pictured bovine live on our farm.
They belong to our neighbor/friend. *sigh*
They really do ♥ me... they DO! Almost as much as I ♥ them!

When I was a kid, there used to be this HUGE bull "statue" (it was a promotional thing for a local steakhouse, I believe) downtown, and I remember being both fascinated and frightened by it at the same time - what do you want?! I was only about 5 or 6 yo.

Great pics, here; thanks for sharin' em, and for bringin' back those childhood memories...

I think it's kind of funny how when you see a cow, they just look at you. What do you suppose they are thinking?? Great photos!!

Cute cows! I do love how they look at you. Not all animals will acknowledge us. lol

Jenn Jilks

Maybe the cows keep you sane, too?! They are creatures with a sense of humour, methinks. My flying squirrels are the ones that tickle me!

That first picture is very funny. But your real cows are beautiful. I can't believe their coloring!

Janet Creamer Martin

I grandparents had a dairy farm, so I totally get the cow thing. Calves can be soooo cute!

Mooo! to you too!

Adorable! Your pictures are wonderful. My sister used to have friends on a farm and I would visit to see the newborns, and the calves were some of my favorites.

Adrienne Zwart

Is this her baby, Misty? I love your cow photos!

Lilli & Nevada

Nothing wrong with loving a cow, i used to have calfs and they were so precious with some great personalities, I used to get the urge for a baby, so would go to the farm auction and find me the cutest 4 legged baby and my urge for babies would be with them. I love that first photo as well.

I doubt anyone could deny they are adorable...and like you I love calves!

Great cow pictures! Hey I believed you - that's how we give directions around here... LOL turn left at the red barn and right at the green silo...

I love cows, too. I remember one from my childhood ... a little calf that loved to play with red and white beach ball!

A funny post (again) and I love cows too! They have the sweetest faces ;-)
That HUGE cow can't be missed. If I ever see it, I'll turn left!

I like cows and those ARE good looking! What kind are they? I don't recognize them.

That 'beauty in the making' is going to be one interesting looking cow. Can't wait to see the grown up, filled out version 8v)

Unknown the first pic. :-)

And the other pics are very cute as well...the baby calf is adorable. :-)

When I was growing up, I lived for a very short while in a town called 'Bulls'. If I remember correctly, they had a giant statue as well. I think it was of a gumboot though.

Aww, thanks for sharing.

Strawberry Jam Anne

Love these photos - cows have such gentle faces. Not too sure about the big girl at the top though! A x

Nothing wrong with falling in love with a cow. Even with a reputation for being stupid, they are cute animals.

Now I *always* believed you!
He ain't as pretty as those other cows though. :)

I love the cows, Misty. They are so cute. And, if I ever see that big on in the first pic, I'm turning left for sure. You better be waiting.

I love it! You know you're a country girl when you give directions, turn left at the big cow! :)

I always enjoy your photos of cows and this post is no exception!
Hugs and blessings,

NOW you tell me about the COW! By the way.. that is probably the ugliest cow statue I've ever seen. Not that I've seen many.. I think it's scarier than the pig.

Trade ya Mike for a baby cow.

We use the 'turn left at the cow' too, but our cow isn't still like yours:)

Love Beauty, and Beauty in the Making:)

OMG we gotta cow statue kinda like that in a nearby town!!!
