Looking at the Sky on Friday

WooHooo! It's Friday! Not only is it the end of the work week for most people, it's also time for the fun and wonderful meme where we spend our time Looking at the Sky on Friday! (Click on the badge to join in the fun!)

It's that time of year again...
with nice, comfortable weather.

I start out on a 'short' walk,
but as I walk, I lose myself.

I lose all the worries and stresses
I was carrying with me, and

I completely absorb the wonder surrounding me,
and I realize there is SO much to appreciate.

The more I get 'lost',
the more I want to continue on.

The more I get 'lost',
the most peace I find.

Sometimes, I have to just stop
and take a breath.

The sounds, the sights, the experience
if you just let yourself get 'lost'

It will leave you in awe.
It will show you the light.

You just need to recognize it
among the distractions.

Recognize it, appreciate it, accept it,
love it, and be grateful.

I absolutely LOVE that cemetery fence no matter how times I see pictures of it! That golden sky is beautiful, too!

I'll be putting up a slightly darker sky tomorrow as I appear to still be waiting for Spring to arrive!

Anna

I love you cemetery gate pictures. These are amazing - the color of the sky is just wow!

I'm scared of putting my paw tracks in a cemetary, but it's a nice shot to look at.

Oh My Gosh! This is an absolutely amazing sunset picture!!! The fence in the foreground make it even more captivating. You've outdone yourself with this one. I ♥ it. Very nicely done.

that pic is lovely, but in my twisted mind it reminds of gates going into hell, and the orange is the burning fire ha ha!

Tulip

What a gorgeous sunset you captured. Truly breathtaking.

I'm guessing you have posted photos of the fence before. I see our friend Linda knew it was a cemetery fence. ;-)

Your poem is oh so true. I really enjoyed this post.
