**Edited to add: This is Matouk. He is my dad's wolfdog. From what we have been told, he is 7/8 wolf and 1/8 German Shepherd.**

On another note, my aunt gave up the battle with Pancreatic Cancer yesterday. She will be greatly missed by all of us who loved her.

I will be unable to attend her services as I had planned. I feel like I'm letting her and the family down. I am thankful though that I got to see her and tell her that I love her.

Don't forget Heads or Tails on Tuesday, Looking at the Sky on Friday, and for your weekend enjoyment...

First, so sorry to hear about your Aunt. Thoughts are with you and your family.

I loved BIG FOOT sighting! Too funny! Looks like wolf/woof was having a great time! :D

Beautiful series of photos.
Beautiful Wolf,too.
And I am so sorry for your loss.Sending prayers your way.

These photos are fun to view and bring back memories of my shepherd/husky mix dog. Our neighbor in Mexico used to call her Lobo (wolf).

Sorry about your Aunt. It is comforting in a way that you got to see her recently.

I am sorry for your loss. It is difficult to not be with family during times like this, I had two uncles pass while I was living away, and could not get home!

Great, fun photos!

I love this "Wolf in Photos" series. Your aunt knows that you love her and would have attended her service if you could have, something that I'm sure will translate to her family.

Great photos! I love the bigfood comment.

Sorry about your Aunt's passing.

I'm very sorry about your aunt. I'm sure it meant a lot to her that you visited.
Beautiful wolf photos! The big foot sighting is great.

I'm sorry to hear about your aunt. At least you were able to see her before her passing.

You gotta love the Wolf...did you make a plaster cast of the footprint and send it in to one of those bigfoot research centers?

Oh, Misty. I'm so sorry for your loss. Is Wolf one of your dogs? I was thinking you just had border collies. He's beautiful!

Beautiful wolf dog - we have a wolfdog sanctuary near us for those who have been given up. I am sorry about your aunt - my dad died of pancreatic cancer. Thinking of you with much sympathy.

I don't think anyone could possibly think you let them down by not being able to go to the service. You spent time while she was still with you and that is probably most important.

Beautiful dog, when we lived on Vancouver Island the fellow that lived next door had a similar dog. He was very gentle although he would not tolerate other dogs.

I enjoyed watching the adventures of Wolf and his big foot!
p.s. so sorry about your loss.
Take good care, Misty.

I am so sorry for your loss.

Your dad's dog is very handsome.

lovely photos of a healthy wolf.

That is the most gorgeous wolf I have every seen! Wow - what a foot!

I'm so sorry to hear about your aunt.

That's a rollercoaster ride of a post! First a great series of images of a very happy dog - who's georgeous! Accompanied by some great comments that made me laugh. Then you share the sad news about your aunt - very sad to read.

Take comfort in the moments you had with her before she passed. You must be pleased you were able to do that.

sorry to hear, but he looks gorgeous!

awesome wolf.

Looks really more like a wolf !
Sorry for your aunt, that's a terrible cancer, my mother died of it too.
