Camera-Critters #71

I have been absent from the blogging world... well actually the entire internet, for awhile, because I got a virus on my laptop. Considering two of my jobs rely on this computer, and all of my photos are on this computer, I was in quite the panic and spent all my time trying to get rid of the virus. I think I'm safe now... but then again, let me tell you about another danger. Please continue reading - it's for your own good.

You may think
you are safe.
You may think
your neighborhood is quiet.
But do you know
what comes out at night?
(c) Misty DawnS

Do you know of
the Bright-Eyed Bunnies?
Oh yes, tis a rare species
which comes out at night.
They stare at you with
those bright eyes
(c) Misty DawnS

And, if the bright eyes
don't hypnotize you,
they will hop about
and perform ceremonial dances
in an attempt to make you dizzy with fear.
(c) Misty DawnS

Oh yes, by daylight
they look cute and innocent enough
but do NOT be fooled, because
when you lease expect it.
(c) Misty DawnS

will turn into this...
(c) Misty DawnS

And don't even get my started on
the #57 species.
Turn your back on one of these,
and it will take over the world...
one cow-pile at a time.
(c) Misty DawnS

Be thankful I warned you.
You will be more prepared
if you are well informed.

Well, now that you've
locked your doors
and got some affordable health insurance quotes,
Let me tell ya how to
join some memes...

Don't forget Heads or Tails on Tuesday, Looking at the Sky on Friday, and for your weekend enjoyment...

Hugs and blessings,

My entry this week : in HERE. I hope you have time to visit. Thanks

Cute little critters! And one not so little (or cute!). Have a great weekend.

Sorry to hear about your computer woes. Hope all is well now. Loved the critters and the commentary. You are too funny! :D

Another excellent, humorous post.

I just went through what you did with my laptop except that in my case, the problem seemed to be related to faulty hardware. I replaced the computer, but it still took a long time to get my programs installed and everything configured to my satisfaction.

Sorry to hear about your computer troubles. Those rabbits look sneaky!

i love reading at your post, it was funny and beautiful critters, love those rabbit's bright eyes at night as well as the black cow.

Love the racoon photo!

Ok, creepy! Someone had my stepson convinced he had glowing eyes at night. Took forever to straighten that out, and some days, at 20 yo, I still wonder if it is. Remember the killer rabbit movie?? Must have been filmed in your area.

Always make me laugh your narrative. I'll never look at fluffy bunnies in the same way again.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO and I've always loved those sweet innocent bunnies. Funny post :)

Very funny stories! love all the critters. I hope the virus is gone permanently.

Great post, Misty! "one cow-pile at a time" -- bwaaaahahahahahahahahahaha!

Funny tale of the weird alien bunnies and the #57 cow pie producers!
I'll definitely make sure my health insurance is in force before these strange beings take over the world...

i beati

I see again my friend has lots of animal friends to visit

Wonderful story poem and shots
Its all so peaceful :))))

Watership down lives again! Im not sure what the first animal is maybe a racoon?

Riiiiight! I always thought it would be those awful flying critter animal thingies that would be the real danger. Never thought it would be the cow 57 tribe!

Good that your PC survived the virus ! And this is a great night performance.

Gemma Wiseman

Loved the narrative with the photos! Such a fun way for a critter post to evolve!

I've been absent too... and just got my last post up as I will be absent again for the forseeable future. I just cannot find the time to blog!
But I will be visiting from time to time, sometimes to lurk, sometimes to comment. So you'll still see me friend. And my email is still live and always will be.

Mom Knows Everything

Hey me miss you! Happy Anniversary yesterday!

Glad to hear you were able to take care of the computer virus. Computers are great when they work well, but that doesn't seem to happen too often :)
Very cute photos!

Love reading your posts. I indeed enjoyed especially staring at your nice photos. I love your title as well "My Dogs Keep Me Sane" which made me realize it's so true. For some Facebook fun tied to a feel-good cause to help dogs, check out Save a Dog:

Thanks for the support. More power!

Except for the sad computer part, this post is really funny!

Those are the most ADORABLE rabbits I have ever seen! The cow doesn't look too pleased!
