It's Not Always Perfect

(c) Misty DawnS

Are you confused by the title? Well, just as this web in the photo is not perfect, it made me realize that the "web of life" we weave is not always 'perfect' in our own opinions. Things go wrong, things get hectic and we let our hobbies of enjoyment go to the wayside in order to keep up with the hectic life, just as I've done lately. Would you believe that I haven't even gone for a photography walk for weeks? It's true. My main passion has been put on the back burner... but that's OK, because that's what needs to be done right now. It's called "Life", and it makes the rules - whether we like it or not. When I could be taking photos or writing blog posts about the best fat burners, I'm too tired. It's called "Life". Yeah, I know I've already said that, but I'm repeating myself - I do that. That's "Life". LOL, y'all getting annoyed with me yet???

Anyway - this photo is from the morning of a much-needed day off work. I woke early, because my body has grown accustomed to that. I walked back to our pond and was surrounded by fog. Just as I got to the pond, the sun was starting to slowly burn the fog away, and what I saw was very surreal to me. I was surrounded by fog, and I was also surrounded by webs of pearls. Yes, they were spider webs, but at that moment, it was so surreal and beautiful, it took my breath away. I just stood there, with camera in hand, trying to figure out how I could possibly capture this moment as I was seeing it. I don't think I did adequately capture it as I would have liked, but sometimes, "it's not always perfect", yet you have to be thankful to just have been there to experience it. As Forrest Gump would say - "That's all I've got to say 'bout that."

D...

I have had that experience before due to hard rains. My pics did not do justice AT ALL. Your pic is fantastic.

Beautiful web, and so true about the webs we weave of our lives. Things get complicated, and all we can do is enjoy where we can. Hope your hectic events let up enought to give you time for a few photo nature walks, at least.

Wow! What a spider web! Fantastic capture...it looks like it is strong enough to catch a bird! Beautiful!

I love what you have to say in this post. It's true life isn't always perfect. Actually it's RARELY perfect, but we can still appreciate all aspects of it.

I love that you were surrounded by fog and spider webs. BeautifuL!

It might not be perfect, but it sure is beautiful!
