Looking at the Sky on Friday *Blue Beyond the Barb*

WooHooo! It's Friday! Not only is it the end of the work week for most people, it's also time for the fun and wonderful meme where we spend our time Looking at the Sky on Friday! (Click on the badge to join in the fun!)

You probably don't wanna ask. It just caught my eye. You see, barbed wire is a big part of a farmer's life out here, and when I was climbing over a gate, this piece of wire caught my eye. The silver barb against the blue sky said something to me, and it called to the photographer in me. So, I, of course, photographed it. It's just what I do.

Maybe I need to buy me a motorhome, get some motorhome insurance, and travel the country looking for other things to photograph. I must admit that traveling the country with Hubs, the dogs, and the camera really sounds awesome!

Nothing wrong with taking a picture of anything against this wonderfully blue sky. The barbed wire has an almost organic look here, almost like a metallic vine and bud reaching toward heaven. The sky is the backdrop that any object looks great against!

So blue and clear sky!

Of course you had to take a picture of it, it was showing off for you! I would have done the same.

The sky looks amazing. I must say that you did a very good job with that photo. Thanks so much for sharing this.

This is a great piece of art!Well, I mean it's a piece of luck to see this beautiful composition. That's what makes the photo perfect!

The sharp gray of that barbed wire is the perfect contrast for that gorgeous blue sky. ~ Calico Contemplations

Hi Misty Dawn,
I came here for Camera Critters, but enjoyed reading down the page. This photo caught my eye. I love it! I enjoy finding things to photograph against a sky. I'm not familiar with this meme. I know SkyWatch is so big, that I am not able to see all the skies that get registered. I enjoy what I can from it, though. I'll have to check this one out.
