Writing It Down

I've always been someone who writes things. Ever since I was a child, I've done creative writing, such as poetry and short stories. Beyond that though, I feel I MUST write things. This includes notes when I'm learning something new, reminders, ideas when they pop into my head, and lists. Oh yes, I certainly write lists, especially now that I've got so much going on in life and so much to keep track of in my head.

So, when I started planning for the new year and making my resolutions goals, I decided that they needed to be written down, both to help me have something to read and strive for, and to help me organize and plan. I know it's already the middle of January, but I'm still catching up and pretending the new year started just yesterday ;-)

So, I'm going to look into the many Office Depot deals I discovered, which would allow me to get everything from pens to notebooks to binders to calendars to dry erase boards! That should get me off to a good start with planning and organizing my many goals and ideas. I'm excited, because I've really decided that this is the year to start making some things happen!

I like how you're pretending the new year just started yesterday. I'm going to have to do something like that. So many times I plan to or want to do something, but then time goes by, and I don't get it done - and I wonder if it's too late. I'm just going to have to go ahead and do it anyway! Maybe.

Crazy Working Mom

I used to be a lot more organized than I am today. IT seems that the older I get, the more lax I get about keeping up with things. *sigh*

Good luck to you.
