Camera-Critters #98

First, I must make it perfectly clear that I can honestly say I did NOT wake up this morning thinking of the benefits of colon cleanse. Nothing against those of you who DO wake up in the morning thinking of such things; I'm just saying I don't. That's all. Now, seriously...

A couple of posts ago, I wrote about how I haven't seen any Cardinals or Blue Jays at my bird feeders this year. Of course, after writing that post, on the way home from work the next day, I saw about 15 Cardinals. But, that's beside the point. I still haven't seen them at my feeder. Juncos (pictured above) DO visit my feeder though. LOTS of them. I think they're cute.

Nice shot.

Nice shot of the Junco, Misty!

Adorable picture!
Happy Camera Critters!

Goodness me - I don't know how I have missed the photography on your blog in all my visits.
It is spectacular!

Misty: Love the Dark Eyed Junco. I never saw them till I started feeding birds.

Such a sweet face, I like how ho tilts his head as he watches you take his picture.

Thanks for the bird shot. It was a cutie.

a sweetie

Lovely photo of your little Junco. I saw two Cardinals, male and female, in the bush out front that they don't normally frequent. The female was nipping off tiny, tiny branches, for nesting maybe?

Cute birds, those Juncos. The Slate-colored variety which you photographed is a lot different from the "Oregon" variety here. However, last winter, I did see a rare Slate-colored variety at my feeders. It was gone by the time I returned with my camera.

What a cutie! I love our juncos! Thank you for visiting My Muskoka !

You're right - very cute!

The cardinals and bluejays don't seem to visit everyday; but these little juncos seem to be quite plentiful this winter. :)
Cute shot Misty!
