Camera-Critters #109

Last weekend, I went for a walk, fully knowing it was a bit windy, but I really needed to get outside with the camera. I was photographing a flowering tree in the woods, and when walking out of the woods, figured I'd head back home. Then, I just got this feeling that I should go further, towards one of my favorite places to walk. So, I listened that voice, and I walked further. I was thankful I did, because when I topped a hill, this is what I saw...

Wait!!! Is that a crazy lady with big camera I hear???
(c) Misty DawnS

Yes, I think it is! I coulda swore I heard a camera shutter.
(c) Misty DawnS

Lady, I am NOT here to be your model. I'm leaving!
(c) Misty DawnS

Seriously! I've got my feathers in a ruffle, and I'm done with you!
(c) Misty DawnS

Don't come any closer! Don't MAKE me go down there!
(c) Misty DawnS

Dang Woman! Don't you EVER go away???
(c) Misty DawnS

That's it! I've had enough! HA! I've taken to the air.
I'm really going now! Let's see you catch me now!!!
(c) Misty DawnS

Oh Craaaaaaaaaap! I forgot that turkeys can't fly very far!!!
Well, it was nice meeting ya. If you need me, I'll be
doing a crash landing in the bushes over there.

This reminds me that I saw a turkey on my birding tour on the Cape Cod yesterday also. The question: Do they have nature enemy on the Cape? The answer: Yes, me. That was the conversation between our guide and a fellow birder.

Too funny! Poor turkey! :D :D :D

Thanks for sending me the link, Misty. I always love how you can combine a humorous story line with a wonderful series of photographs.

I am sorry though that I didn't realize that you were posting different CC subjects on your separate blogs, so I had been clicking on just one of the links and therefore missing your post on the other blog. Now I'll have to go back through your archives and see what I have missed.

he's a big ole guy!
