Looking at the Sky on Friday *Breaking the Rules*

For this week's Looking at the Sky on Friday, I decided to post a photo which is against the rules. No, I won't get kicked out of LATSOF or the blogosphere for the photo; It's not THAT kind of breaking the rules. It breaks the photography rules - Don't shoot directly into the sun, sunspots are bad, etc., etc. However, I'm being a rebel, and I just don't care! I like the photo. It reminds me of peaceful moments back at my pond, while experiencing nature and letting my stresses go for just a bit - let go of the work worries, the worries about Hub's back, trying to find the best belly fat burner, worries about the weather and the farm... etc... etc...etc. Shot into the sun... sunspots or not... viewing this photo gives me a feeling of peace.

Love it! I would break the rules to get images like that, too. I even add an action from CoffeeShop that adds sun flare, lens spots, etc. There's just something inviting and warm and well, great about sun flare! Keep breaking those rules...!!!

Love the sun's reflection. I love shooting into the sun. If I can avoid a lens flare I love doing that :)

Rules are made to be broken, isn't that what they say?

This is really nice, Misty. And, since I know you're using that great insect repellent that I'm going to win, the scene is even more peaceful! :P

When you follow the rules, you get the same results as everyone else. Being creative requires you to break a few rules. Love the photo!

Mmm, I love this! The reflection in the water is beautiful!
