Macro Flowers *Half N Half*

Macro Flowers Saturday badge 1

While out on a walk last weekend (at the place you're probably sick of hearing about), this Clover flower caught my eye. I thought it was interesting in the way that its bloom is 'half and half'. Hmmm, we have products for hair loss for people; This clover needs some products for petal loss for flowers, I think. Yes, many things, big and small, catch my eye, and, yes, I pretty much photograph it all, if I'm able. Besides, the flowers are far and few between now. So, I feel I owe it to them to capture their beauty and uniqueness before they are gone.

Interesting blooming strategy...hehehe.

I found one with a few more petals last weekend, but not much. It may be a bit petal deficient, but it still makes for a great shot!

The open petals on half of the flower makes it more interesting. What a gorgeous pale pink color it has.
These are the last beauties ans colors we see this year.
Thanks for sharing this lovely photo on Macro Flower Saturday!

A full shot of a half flower. Excellent! I love the hairy leaves.

Judy

I wonder why they sometimes appear like that...
I posted red clover, more of a wildflower than yours, but the same shape!

Ann

I see them in our fields too.
