Camera-Critters #136

Last weekend, Hubs and I went to the "city" to take care of several things that needed done. On the way there, I told Hubs about this specific area where I've been wanting to stop and take photos, but I never do, because I'm always driving to or from work.

So, we got to the city, got Hubs measured for a tux, got Hubs some new overalls for the winter, got Hubs a haircut, did a major stock-up grocery shopping, and topped it off with a Whopper from Burger King (I ♥ Burger King Whoppers). Yes, too many Whoppers can result in a need for thermogenic fat burners, but I'm not concerned. ;-)

And then, on the way home, Hubs pulled over at the spot I had told him about so I could make some friends...

Texas Zoo in Victoria is my Camera Critters this week!!

It looks as though all those horses trotted straight over to you to ask for treats. Such beautiful animals :-)

Critters worth stopping for, alright.
Gotta wonder about a man, however, who gets new overalls and gets fitted for a tux both on the same day. LOL

Lots of new friends, and gorgeous ones at that. I don't see that much of a variety of horse here. Nice!

When I was a kid I would visit my great aunt and uncle's farm in Northern California. There was a pasture of horses next door. I was a horse nut and spent hours along the barb wire fence hoping they would come visit me like this. - Margy
