Mother Nature Teases

(c) Misty DawnS

This photograph was taken with longing thoughts of spring filling my mind. Just looking at this blue sky and the pretty, little sparrows in the Tulip Tree (so they don't get tea tree oil acne) would make you believe me if I said that spring had arrived, wouldn't it? Unfortunately, I can't lead you on any longer. This photo was taken on January 29, 2011. Just a couple days after this beautiful blue sky, we had the blizzard of 2011. Ha! Mother Nature doesn't have much of a sense of humor!

Speaking of Mother Nature's sense of humor... 72 degrees on Thursday, mid-50s on Friday, back to freezing Friday night, cold and blustery yesterday, thunderstorms all night long last night. Talk about throwing a little bit of everything all into a week's time, huh?

Same thing here as it's way below freezing and snow is moving in tonight.

Mother Nature is a wench!

Oh, look at the little sweeties. They're so cute.
I worry about the birds who arrived here this month, just ahead of a horrible cold spell, and more snow. We have more in the forecast, too.
You're right, Mother Nature has no sense of humor.

Maybe mother nature is on perimenopause? Over here we are getting a heatwave (in the Philippines). If the plants could talk, I wonder what they'd say.

Same story here Misty! It's been a tough and crazy winter. This wonderful shot however, reminds me of all the beauty to come. What a gorgeous blue sky!

Thank you so much for sharing this today at The Creative Exchange.

Have a wonderful evening!

It seems it's been a weird weather winter (how's that for alliteration) all over. We had one beautiful springy day last week and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Your photo is so pretty with the two little Sparrows soaking up the sun! Here's to an early Spring!

Sounds like we're fixing to get those storms that you got last night & last weekend it was in the high 60's here... If only it would have STAYED!!! =)

Beautiful blue sky & bird shot... COME ON SPRING!!! =)

Beautiful shot - let's just pretend *that's* the way it's going to stay...shall we? In reality, of course, we are experiencing much of the same ...but let's not dwell on that right now. :)

Mom Nature is such a tease, isn't she? We had 70s last week and today it's snowing and 33. But spring is coming...I can feel it! A cute little sparrow told me. :-)
