Mustard Macro

(c) Misty DawnS

The day after my macro filters were delivered, I was provided with perfect opportunities to try them out. We had rain the night before, so the grasses and the flowers were wearing their diamonds and pearls of water drops.

Now, I'm very thankful that I took that day off work to enjoy my new toys, because I haven't had much macro opportunities since then. This entire weekend has been nothing but rain... rain.. and more rain. Oh well, I can't complain, because we have had several very nice weekends lately. Besides, the rain will make my wildflowers grow :-)

There's a little garden area at work which has lots of very beautiful flowers, like the Dogwood in my Mother's Day post. It's a beautiful place for the students to gather to study, discuss school equipment, or just hang out. Since the weather is supposed to clear up and be nice during the week, I think I might spend a couple of my breaks doing macro flowers photos.

A wonderful macro, Misty, and I think using your new lenses on the garden at work is an excellent idea. I'll be looking forward to the photos.

I'm glad you were able to take the day and enjoy the new lens. Wonderful capture of the tiny drops. It will stop raining again soon...I hope.

I have never loved the rain so much as I do now, as a photographer. You are right, Misty girl. It drapes everything in the most beautiful jewelry imagineable.;-) Love these flowers. Love your enthusiasm. Just. love. you. xo
