Bug at Work ~ Camera-Critters #176
Wednesday, I was at work and walked through one of the walkways between offices and immediately noticed a critter on the window. Not just any critter, a critter on my Life List! I immediately ran to my office, passing my secretary and saying, "We interrupt this work day, because Misty has to take a photograph."
When I got the camera and went outside, I realized that I had been followed by several of my co-workers who were interested in what Misty had found to photograph "this time". LOL I think they expected to see some critter that "only Misty" would find cool or beautiful, but everyone who saw it agreed that it was pretty awesome!
Who wouldn't think this
Polyphemus Moth
is AWESOME???

If you think this is cool... wait til you see the critters I photographed at work TODAY! :-) I think if I get any Halloween invitations, I'm going to dress up as an Entomologist. :-)

A very nice blog and thought id say hello. Richard from the Amish community of Lebanon,Pa.
I LOVE moths! Beautiful photo.
Wow, good for you, Misty, a critter on your Life List! Gorgeous, too.
Yes, you'll have to dress up like an entomologist. Do you have the outfit already? Something like a beekeeper with a butterfly net, a microscope, and a pair of very very quiet shoes.

Great photos. Some moths are prettier than butterflies!

Congrats on your lifer list, it is a beautiful moth. Great shots. Have a great weekend and thanks for hosting.
Gorgeous moth! I've never seen a moth quite as beautiful before.
That, my friend, is stunning.
My job allows me the freedom to roam a bit. Since we're in the country, it's hard to stay close when the winged critters are skimming further away.
Very good and nice photos, especially I like the first one.
I'm waiting to see your other photos :)
Regards!
