Work Walking Stick ~ Camera-Critters #178
So, I was sitting in my office one morning, and one of my co-workers approaches my doorway, sees I'm on the phone, and, obviously disappointed, turns and walks away. Since I was already in the process of ending the phone call, I hung up, and went to see what she needed.
I guess I should no longer be surprised when my co-workers seek me out to tell me there's a critter waiting for me to photograph it...
a Walking Stick
was hanging out on the window
waiting for me.
Looks like he's advertising for the University, huh?

The critter and I took time to pose together.
See me?
See me?

Apparently, this Walking Stick just wanted to check its reflection.
Maybe it was concerned it was having a bad hair day?

Oh yes, I'm looking rather dapper today.
You may print my photo on an Epson TM-T88V.
Now that I know I look O.K.
I can go on my way, and uhhhhh
perhaps find a place where....
I fit in a bit better.
Not many trees here on this helipad!

Wow, this would fit in perfectly with the Weekend Reflections meme, too, Misty.
Did I already say "See you tomorrow?"
Well, see you tomorrow! I have a cute, foreign, camera critter, but not as exotic as yours. (We don't have those walking-sticks here. I have to carry my own.)

Aren't they amazing? We have quite a few here.
I just took my first photos of one myself yesterday (first time I have ever seen one too). How neat is that? Love that your coworkers come find you! Ha!
They are cool looking critters and usually very hard to find. Looks like this one came to find you. Great photos Misty, have a wonderful weekend!
I haven't seen one of these in years.
Great captures with wonderful reflections!
Your workplace provides you lots of interesting finds it seems. :)
What a great-looking stick insect. Fabulous shots!
I haven't seen one of these in forever. Great captures, Misty. The reflections are awesome.
Very good and nice photos of this insect.
Regards!
Gorgeous set of picture. This insect is so mysterious, and so amazing... I just love the third one : the reflection of the luminous building and the insect come to a balance in the composition I'm very fond of.
haven't seen one in so long a real thrill sandy
Great shots of the Walking Stick. You ever wonder what your farm would look like if all these critters who seek you out at work knew where you lived? 8v)
I love that your co-workers know you so well! Fun photos!
Cool captures! I never seen one of those before.
nice creature and ur shots are nice too
I have to ask where your office is located, you are able to get such great shots of many different and interesting things. Walking sticks are really hard to spot because they blend in so well, but not on a window of course.
WOW! What a very cool critter this is. I love shot #3 the best. Good job!
