Fritillary Portrait ~ Camera-Critters #183

Soon, my precious bugs will be gone. The temperatures will drop, and the snow will fly. *sigh* And, I will be longing for green grass, blue skies, and dragonflies (and fishing, of course). For now, however, we've had glorious weather. I've welcomed the unseasonably warm temperatures, which have caused my precious critters to remain with me for a while longer...

such as this beautiful Fritillary butterfly
who recently posed for a portrait.

What a beauty, posing so prettily!
I'm looking forward to linking up tomorrow. I had fun with all my critters this week, except one.

Take care

*shudder* yes, the very evil "s" word!!! That's a beautiful shot of your butterfly Misty!!!

Beautiful! Guess he wanted his portrait done and KNEW you'd do a great job! Happy Critter Day, Misty and thank you!

Wow that is so beautiful, i guess it is still drying its wings. You are about to get your cold temps and in this part of the world we are also waiting for our coldest per year, which might be your highest temps. Our normal temperatures are above 30C and we only have 2 seasons, the dry and the wet. We don't see your glorious Fall colors and your scary winters!

Awww lovely butterfly. They'll be back right after winter and they'll be lovelier as ever!

Beautiful shot! I'm so torn about winter coming. I'm ready for a change and getting rid of some nasty bugs, but I will certainly miss the beautiful flowers and pretty bugs.
