Overcoming a Fear

I have a fear of bees/stinging insects.
I've been doing my best to overcome this fear.
So, when I first saw this critter,
my initial reaction was,
"S*&t a wasp!",
and I started to turn and go in the other direction.
But, I stopped myself,
took a deep breath,
and photographed it.
Not once, not twice, but FOUR times.
With my macro lens no less!

You just did conquer your fear. The bonus part you've got a good macro shot with the wasp. And I guess he pose for you too. ^_^

Great macro! You really overcame the fear and faced it. I'm not fond of wasp but I love the sweet little honey bees.
