Vertical or Horizontal Crop? You Choose

O.K., my wonderful friends. I'm here to ask for your help. I took the below photograph while on a walk with Hubs, Step-Daughter, Son-In-Law, and GrandDoggy.

I really like the photograph, but can't decide between two crops. Each time I think I've decided, I go back and look again and change my mind. So... this is where you come in.

If you could just leave me a comment telling me "first" (vertical crop), "second" (horizontal crop), or "neither" (Why the heck do you like this photo, Misty?), I would sincerely appreciate it!

Thanks everyone! I knew I could count on you!
(Geesh, I really need you guys! I just looked at the crops again and changed my mind once more! I'm outta control, I tell ya!)

They aren't flowers, but leaves do form on and decorate trees.
So, I'm posting it for Today's Flowers.
(If it is deemed not appropriate, I'll remove the link.)

Okay, Misty, I like the first photo, the vertical crop. To me, it gives a greater sense of the sky reflecting in the water. These leaves are so colorful and varied, they could well be flowers!

First. I love the colors.

Splendid Little Stars

I love this photo! The colors are gorgeous! I think the first crop is best because the center is emphasized more.

PS: Zion is an awesome park! I highly recommend visiting!

this shot should have been a square. You need the leaves all around the water. In the blog you are free to crop whatever size you like. :)

Chubskulit Rose

Beautifully captured! I love the color so much!

Christmas Cactus, have a blessed Sunday!

Luna Miranda

they are both beautiful, but if i have to choose, i'd go for the vertical crop. the leaves at the foreground add interest. gorgeous colors.

Jen at Cabin Fever

I like the vertical. It fits well with the length of the tree that is in the center and frames the puddle better :)

Wonderful photo!! The reflection is stunning framed by the Autumn colour. I like the vertical crop the best!

Good grief, I never commented on this one... I thought I did, but I guess I only did it in my head, which of course, you would have no idea of knowing what I thought when it was only in my head... sheesh.

I liked the vertical one best, for what it's worth!

The vertical looks better balanced to me...such gorgeous colours!
