They Visit Me ~ Camera-Critters #217

Work has been crazy hectic, and to top it off, I've been sick.

So, Thursday, I had stayed late at my full-time job, drove the 45 minutes home,
and then got started on an hour-worth of work for my second job.

While doing the work for my second job,
a critter decided to come out of the wet weeds
and walk up my driveway and stand in my yard.

As soon as I heard Hubs ask, "What the heck is coming up our driveway?"
I, of course, went running outside with the camera.
Yes, sometimes you have to quit working to take pictures.  It's like a LAW!

Instead of running away when I went outside,
the critter was just as curious of me as I was of it.

Maybe it had heard of Camera-Critters and wanted to be this week's star.

Well, of course I have to oblige!
How could I say no when it posed so sweet as this???

That's a big raccoon! :)

he's very cute! sure hope he's not affected by rabies! to be that bold in daytime always makes me nervous.

I just LOVE that pose!!!

That is a great pose! Year ago we had one that used to come up to the back door to be fed, and if we did't put anything out, he would scratch on the door! Great shot!

Great capture for the day then, and he is definitely wanted to be on camera!

That's a big, wet raccoon! Love the pose!

They look so cute, but they can be so distructive.

Seems to be quite a rascal! Nice shot :)

Cute but such rascals!

That's a great pose!

What a perfect shot....I can never manage anything like that. All creatures, both great and small, seem to run from me.

My Camera Critters is at:

Totally worth taking a work break for. I love the way he is standing up. So cute!

Cute pose and a great capture! I hope you are feeling better now. Have a great weekend!

He seems to be as much "ham" as raccoon. Great shot.

Darryl and Ruth :)

Perhaps he was hoping you had some food?

It definitely struck a nice pose for you. 8v)

Definitely posing for you, Misty, no doubt about that.

He sure is a cute critter! I have them come to my porch late at night, to eat whatever cat food might have been left. Sometimes they even get right up to the glass sliding door and look in at me! I've got pictures but not very good ones!

awww! what a sweet raccoon that is...perfect shot :-) love it :-) Dropping by from Camera Critters.

Great shot, but I am not a fan of raccoons.
