Let's Go Snipe Hunting
If I offer to take you Snipe hunting,
I'm note joking and going to play a trick on you.
I'll just take you to my pond.
For a bird that is involved in such a well-known practical joke,
it is one of the most beautiful, detailed, and interesting birds
I've ever seen!

Thats a great shot - they are the most splendid of birds - and they can be really difficult to see at times!
About 10 years ago I did a short teacher exchange into Wickliffe - you live in a great part of world. I got to see lots of snow.

I've never seen this bird before but I think it's quite handsome and has beautiful markings.
