Company on the Porch

My dad made this wolf totem for Hubs and me.
Back in September, I was sitting on the deck,
in my favorite chair, by my wolf totem,
and I felt like I wasn't alone.

The feeling wouldn't go away,
even though I had looked around and realized
no one was home but the dogs and me.
I couldn't shake the feeling I wasn't alone.

Then I realized I, in fact, wasn't alone.

I had company on the porch.
Maybe he wanted to read my book with me.

Oh my gosh....I will be sure to NOT show Bud this carving 'cause he'd be mapping directions to your place. [kidding]

But, it's really really cool. What a work of art.

Wow, I love the wolf carving! Cool captures of your Walking Stick companion. Thanks for hosting, Misty! Have a great weekend!

I like your wolf totem and, apparently, so does the walking stick!

Your dad does some amazing work, the totem is awesome and so is your photograph of the Walking Stick.

What a clever walking stick to hide in a wolf's fur!! He'll be safe there!
