Will I ever get caught up? I'm beginning to think the answer to that is 'no'. I have OVER 500 unread posts in my reader! Then, when I participate in a meme, I visit all those participants! Now, I start my new full-time job today, in addition to coming home to do my Virtual Assistant work! Will I ever get caught up? I'm beginning to think not. I do promise to be better at visiting everyone's blogs... I just need to have a little while to figure out a routine and schedule... I'm a routine-kinda gal. So, right now, I'm feeling kind of overwhelmed.
Did I mention that my throat feels as if I have swallowed razor blades? I just keep thinking, "No, no, NO! I can NOT get sick right now."
I'll be back this evening, and I'll start trying to get that routine figured out... Don't give up on me, Friends!

I've been accused of being obsessed with sunsets. Hmmmm, I can't imagine why people would think such a thing of me ;-) Now, with this photo, I think I've probably proven this statement to be true. I just thought it was so neat the way the reflection of the sunset was framed by the window on our steel equipment building.
This brings up a little side note for me. When I entered that photography contest in the nearest 'city', someone had used an old window frame to frame their photo of a hill covered with flowers. It was so creative and really turned out neat. So, I told Hubs that I need some old wooden window frames so I can try this with my photos. Don't worry Barb, I won't take them out of
your barn... although, that would be pretty neat.
As far as being obsessed... well, let's just say, if Hubs was looking into
Tuscany villa rentals, I'd be charging the camera batteries and daydreaming about sunsets. I'm obviously obsessed with talking and rambling on too, because these posts are supposed to be wordless; Yet, mine hardly ever are. hehe

I realize my Wordless Wednesdays are hardly ever wordless anyway (It's my blog, so it's OK), but I
have to talk about this photo. I realized something about myself with this photo... I realized that I am absolutely dog-crazy, and I think about or incorporate dogs into everything. Why did I come to this realization, besides the fact that it's so obvious already? Well, you know you are dog-crazy when you take a photo of a sunset, and you immediately see a puppy's face in the clouds. Yep, you are probably going to think I'm crazy, but right there, to the top right of the trees, I see a puppy's face looking at me head on... white nose and white blaze, little tan eyebrow above the left eye (on our right looking at the face). Seriously! You can see it even more if you look at the photo full size. Maybe the Heaven is telling me to go get another puppy to help me feel better about the camera deal... OR, maybe it is telling me to get a new puppy AND the camera and take photos of the puppy! Yeah, I think that's it! (Please don't call the people with the straight jackets to take me away because I'm seeing puppies in the sky.)

Have I mentioned how much I miss the warm weather? I am longing for Spring... seriously longing for the sunshine, warm weather, and being able to go for a walk without having to put on several layers of clothes. So, I post this photo, and I wish that it were a Robin sitting on that barbed wire. Then I would know that Spring was almost here. Unfortunately, I have to snap back to reality. We had a Winter storm here today. We are still under a storm warning tomorrow, and it is supposed to snow throughout Thursday. That would be why I have not been able to go out for a walk (well, that and Hubs being sick), and, yes, I'm going through serious withdrawals. Am I whining too much?

That face! She just makes you want to throw that ball for her, doesn't she? She knows that she melts my heart, and she uses it to her advantage. If I'm not paying attention or doing exactly what Molly thinks I should be doing, she will come sit in front of me, put her paw on my leg or arm, and just stare at me with those beautiful chocolate eyes. If I ask her if she loves Mommy, that always gets me a kiss. I never taught her that trick - it's just something she has always done - I ask "You love Mommy?", and she has always responded by giving me a kiss. She completely owns my heart!

Well, it can't be completely wordless when my beauty is posing for the camera! My Molly is my heart and soul. She is the oldest of the three, and the puppy immediately bonded with her. Everywhere Molly goes, the puppy is sure to follow. If you sit back and watch, especially when Maggie was younger, she would always be looking to Molly to learn from and follower her actions. The really ironic thing is the puppy's facial and head markings are so similar to Molly that everyone assumes that Maggie is Molly's pup. Nope - all three of my dogs are rescues.

This is what that adorable puppy (the one in the banner) looks like now.
She is now nine months old and is growing up and developing her own personality.
She constantly watches the other two dogs to see what they are doing and learn from them, but she has more independence than either of them.
She's always alert and does everything at full speed.
If I don't train this puppy in either agility, herding, or both, then I am seriously doing her a disservice, because she constantly shows that she is full of instinct.

(Christmas morning, 2004)
(c) Misty Dawn
This was both Molly and Tag's first Christmas with us.
At first, they wondered what the heck their silly mommy was doing now with all this stuff wrapped in paper which she kept trying to get them to rip off. They were quite wary at first because they had already been told to stay away from the tree a hundred times leading up to that morning. After they got all of their presents though, they decided this Christmas thing was pretty cool.
** I realize that this is "Wordless Wednesday", but I had to add "3-5 sentences" to it so it would be acceptable for the next post. At least when I originally posted it, it was wordless ;-)
