You all know that I am addicted to photography, which means I take an excessive amount of photos. Well, I am beginning to get concerned that I am taking too much space on my new laptop to store all the photos I take.
So, I started asking my photography friends how they store their photos. One option is to burn my photos to CDs or DVDs for storage. However, with the amount of photos I take, that would take forever, and it would also become very expensive, because I would use up a lot of discs.
No matter how hard I try, I cannot bring myself to delete the cute photos, such as this...

Also, I can't bring myself to delete the beautiful ones, such as this...

Just imagine how many photos I will have once I get that dream camera!
So, one of my very dear friends gave me a better option for storing my photos. He said I should purchase an
external hard drive for storing my photo and music files. That sounds like the best solution, and I found an awesome one!
Just look at this beauty...

You know the most beautiful part about this hard drive? Yeah, the blue LED strip is pretty awesome. However, the most beautiful thing about it, in my opinion, is the fact that it has 750 GB of storage! Oh yeah! I could store ALL of my current photos, in addition to all my future photos, and still have room for all of our music files too!
It would be so great to have everything stored in one place and free up the space on my computer.
Yep, I definitely think this LaCie USB 2.0 7200RPM Desktop External Hard Drive, complete with 1-click backup software, would be absolutely perfect for my needs. Especially now that I see what a great price it is, and the fact that I can get free shipping through
buy.com.
Ya know, my birthday is coming up, and a couple of months after that is our anniversary. I better start making my lists. ;-)

Perfect Storage Solution For Me
http://www.mistysmusings.com/2008/05/perfect-storage-solution-for-me.html

Wouldn't any guy love to hear that? Unless, of course, you are telling him to go clean it.
After the other posts that I did about garage storage, I continued to explore the website of CarGuyGarage.com. Then, I started picturing the way my husband's garage/shop could be, and I started getting some ideas for gifts.
I decided to ask him his opinion. He looked at the site and pointed out the diamond plate cabinets and said how cool they were. You should see these! They have sets that include cabinets, a workbench, pegboard, and lighting. You just order, and when it arrives, just set it where you want it and plug in the lighting. They even have matching diamond plate table and booth chairs, a diamond plate locker, and even a diamond plate desk! To make sure that everything matches, diamond plate light switch and outlet covers are available. Too cool!
I'm thinking that he should even have a section of the shop that is for me. So I can have my own area for my craft supplies and tools.

Let's Talk Some More About The Garage
http://www.mistysmusings.com/2007/10/lets-talk-some-more-about-garage.html

A couple of posts ago, I told you about my husband's farm garage/shop, and how he sacrificed his cabinets so that I would have cabinets in the kitchen.
Well, after that post, I spent even more time exploring CarGuyGarage.com and their items available for garage storage , and I realized not only would I get my husband the 10-piece garage organization set-up, I would get him even more items so his shop would be absolutely perfect.
I keep picturing the way he had the old shop set up before we moved states. That shop was the product of over 60 years' worth of setting-up just how my husband, his father, and his grandfather wanted it.
Well, if he were able to have to cabinets, shelving, pegboard, and benches. The shop would be so efficient and convenient.
Maybe I could purchase him a piece or two each holiday, so he could just keep adding on to his dream garage/shop.

More Garage Storage
http://www.mistysmusings.com/2007/09/more-garage-storage.html
When people ask me about our garage, I instantly think about our 'shop'. Technically, we don't have a 'garage', as in somewhere to pull your car and park it for the night. However, we've always had a 'shop', as in somewhere to pull a vehicle, tractor, ATV, skid loader, combine, or whatever in to work on and repair.
In our old shop, before we moved, my husband had some old kitchen cabinets hanging for storage of tools, supplies, etc. Well, after we moved to this state and this house, poor husband ended up putting his shop cabinets in the kitchen, because we had absolutely no cabinets at all in our kitchen.
Now, I feel so bad for my husband. He has a LOT of tools and supplies. Well, he has to have all of that stuff for the farm, farm equipment, and all the vehicles. Now that he doesn't have any cabinets out there, he has everything in various boxes which are spread out all over the place.
I would love to get him the 10-piece garage organization setup from CarGuyGarage.com, so that he could have all the metal cabinets he needs to get organized and work more efficiently.
